The state of the real estate market in Orange County is very optimistic at this time. We hear conversations about the high inventory of Un-Sold homes, and we also hear that not too many buyers are buying at this time. 2018 OC Market Recap
We, at "Davar & Co.", believe in providing valuable information that would help you make informed decisions when dealing with Real Estate. The year 2018 was a very challenging year for Real Estate in Orange County. We practically started the year with lower amount of inventory through April. The demand, however, during these first four months was slightly lower than the same period of 2017. It was clearly a Sellers' Market during these first 4 months. Beginning in May of 2018 the inventory of available homes began to climb as the demand started to decrease. By the end of 2018 we had a 43% inventory increase over December of 2017, while the demand decreased in double digits for the same period. It clearly appears that we are entering a Buyers' Market.
